Just some self-adulation
Well, it’s summer, and for us this means playing a lot of concerts. So how do we ease our minds before the next concert? Simple: we read what people write about us. Only the nice things, though. Time to share some of the latest IGUDESMAN & JOO media coverage with you.
Below find a link to a wonderful radio show with David Ford on 88.5 WFDD, and another radio show on BR Klassik, as well as two nice reviews from our concerts in Waiblingen and Munich, Germany.

AND NOW MOZART in Stuttgart – no nightmares, promised!
Nightmares occur when you sleep, research has shown. Nightmares don’t occur when you don’t sleep. A measure too severe, some argue. So we developed something new against nightmares: “AND NOW MOZART”! This show contains no little nightmare. And no Mozart, either. Or it could be full of Mozart, we’ll see. If you’re scared of nightmares, Mozart, snakes, or ghosts – life has been kind to you: all of you fears will have vanished after coming to our performance of “AND NOW MOZART” at Liederhalle Stuttgart, June 23. 2. “They always come back.”
True for musicians. If referring to Vienna.

Know your sausages! IGUDESMAN & JOO in Germany and Austria
Frankfurter or Wiener? How to know which one to order? Watch our latest YouTube video for one way of settling upcoming Wurst issues – With special thanks to Chisayo Lewis for her hand-made crafty craft creation of Igudesman & Joo. The other way demands more intellectual capacities: Follow the rules and memorize exceptions.
When in Frankfurt, order Wiener.
When in Vienna, order Frankfurter.
Now, let’s turn towards exceptions: when in Berlin, order Currywurst. When in Stuttgart, order Bratwurst. Actually, there’s an exception to this exception: What you really should order in Stuttgart is Spätzle. Or a Mercedes.
… and that’s about it. All you need to know. See? Easy. Follow the rules and memorize exceptions.
May 26, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Germany
